The principle in one paragraph
As a clipper, you build a fresh TikTok account, cut short clips from a brand's raw footage (provided via the Ombrie app) and post them. If the videos get real views, you're paid per 1,000 views — directly through the app. You see the payment for every campaign. No starting capital, no followers needed.

Your first week, day by day
- Day 1: download the Ombrie app, pick a project, create a new TikTok account (e.g. "brandxy_clips").
- Day 1–3: warm up — scroll, like and follow in the target niche for 20–30 minutes daily. Don't post anything yet!
- Day 3: cut your first clip: hook in second one, caption, music, hard cuts. Post it.
- Day 4–7: 1–3 clips daily. Watch your insights: which hook holds viewers? Repeat that format.
Hooks that work
The hook is 80% of success. Proven patterns: the unfinished statement ("Then he said something that changed everything…"), the concrete number ("$75,000 with one video"), the controversy ("Stop posting content"), the before/after. Write the hook as text on the first frame — most people scroll with sound off.
The mistakes that cost beginners money
- Skipping the warm-up → the account gets filed wrong and clips reach nobody.
- Buying views → software checks catch it instantly; exclusion plus loss of pending payouts.
- Skimming the rules → only compliant clips get paid; every campaign has its own guidelines.
- Quitting after 5 videos → virality is a numbers game; the top earners are the ones with the most attempts.
